 This section turns our attention to the activities occurring within the ecosystem. From the human-centric perspective, these are assumed to be directed by the humans, for the benefit of the humans. But it is well to remember that; from a more holistic perspective, all activities, human and non-human, go on at the same time. Wheels operate within wheels.

   I believe I first came upon a reference to 'The Earth Institute' on 'weather.com'. A picture (see above) from their blog entitled 'Future El Niño' caught my eye.
